Sublimatic Paper
Sublimation printing, or sublimation printing, is a printing technology that is based on the physical process of sublimation of the ink, i.e. the direct passage from the solid state to the gaseous state. This process requires that the paper is printed using an inkjet plotter and subsequently positioned on the fabric. The whole is pressed hot, at a temperature ranging between 170 ° C and 200 ° C, by means of suitable presses or calenders. During this operation, the ink sublimates and is transferred from the paper to the fabric by combining it with the synthetic fiber of the fabric itself permanently, resisting UV rays, rubbing and washing. These papers are called Sublimation papers and we offer them in a wide range, from the best treated and non-sublimation papers to protection cards for calenders and for fabrics in the case of direct printing.
